Fizzano products used in construction of Lincoln Financial Field

The Philadelphia Eagles are enjoying their new home in the Lincoln Financial Field which opened in August. The groundbreaking for the $320M NFL stadium took place in April, 2001. Built by a joint venture of Turner, Keating and McKissack construction companies the facility has a 66,000 seating capacity.

The exterior of Lincoln Financial Field has a pair of winglike coverings over the upper stands. These wings provide some protection from the elements to fans and serve to focus stadium noise back toward the field, enhancing the game experience.

Designed by NBBJ Sports and Entertainment, the new stadium brings fans closer to the field. It provides them with dramatically improved sight lines as well as state-of-the-art amenities and services. Rather than the traditional bowl design, the stadium features three open plaza corners for views to the city and into the stadium.The entire structure is designed from a fan's perspective.and with a game-day experience in mind.

Seats in the Lincoln Financial Field are 60 feet from the field, with nearly two-thirds of them located along the sidelines. No seats have an obstructed view, with improved sightlines being a focal point of the design. It features two LCD video boards each measuring 27 feet by 96 feet.

The HDTV, flat screen technology boards, each of which span nearly the entire width of the field and are situated between the upper and lower seating areas in both the north and south end zones.

The Eagles stadium features 150 luxury suites, the lower level are among the closest to the field of any NFL stadium. All suites feature retractable glass windows allowing fans the opportunity to watch the game in climate-controlled comfort or with the open-air experience.
